Match With Vetted Talent at No Cost to You

At no cost to you, we’ll present you with candidate options to find the right match for your open roles. As an OHBA Job Ready employer, you’ll also have access to up to $1,500 in funding from the program for every participant who completes their placement with you.

Our program's success lies in its collaboration with participating employers, each playing a pivotal role in nurturing talent and fostering growth within the new home construction industry.

In Year 3's program (now closed) we placed Job Ready employees with 83 employers across Ontario. These partnerships help drive change, turning aspirations into practical career opportunities.

Retain Employees for the Long Term

Throughout the placement, we’ll maintain a feedback loop with you and support your new employee with career and mental health services to keep your retention rates high.

The program has been so successful that participating employers have already moved 50% of participants beyond entry-level roles so they can add even more value to their job sites.

Our program isn't just about recruitment, it is also about setting our participants up for long-term success, and our employers as well. Retention starts in the earliest days of someone's career. Read about how we help with retention on our blog.

Employer Testimonials

“The process streamlined a ton for us. The healthy and safety training is also extremely valuable because that’s usually time taken out of our other employee’s days. It tapped into a different market we didn’t have access to. More importantly, it’s allowing us to work on the day-to-day business and not have to spend time on recruiting.”

“As a small company, scaling is one of the things we always worry about. As you grow, you have to hand over the reins to the next generation of leaders in your organization and we always feared we had a gap. Now we have two young leaders through the OHBA Job Ready Program—it’s helped us scale in a big way.”
